Cookie Policy
How RemixThatPhoto uses cookies and similar browser storage for editing, accounts, and checkout.

What cookies do
Cookies and similar browser storage let RemixThatPhoto keep an account session, associate anonymous edits with the same browser, remember security state, and understand an optional campaign source. A provider or hosted checkout may set its own cookies when you use that provider.
Cookies used by the service
Anonymous editing
The signed rtp_guest cookie identifies an anonymous editing session for its daily allowance. It is an HttpOnly, SameSite cookie with a one day maximum age. Clearing it removes the browser's current anonymous identity; it does not erase server-side task or payment records.
Authentication and security
The authentication system uses session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. Security checks may use short lived tokens or browser state. These are necessary for the requested feature and cannot be replaced with a marketing preference.
Campaign attribution
When a visit includes a campaign source, the service may store a sanitized utm_source cookie for up to 30 days. This helps attribute a visit and is not required to edit a photo.
Optional providers
Analytics, advertising, customer support, authentication, Turnstile, and hosted payment providers may set cookies or use similar technologies when those integrations are enabled. Their own policies govern those technologies. A provider may be disabled while the rest of the editor remains available.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the anonymous or authentication cookie may prevent the corresponding edit, sign-in, or checkout flow from working. There is no separate language preference cookie for the public site; the public interface is English.
Retention and changes
Cookie lifetimes are set by the service or the relevant provider and may change when the implementation changes. We may update this policy and will show its current revision date above.
